How much does a tiramisu cake cost?
Our Italian-style tiramisu cakes start from $8 per serving, with a $250 minimum for 25–30 servings. Popular sizes: 25–30 servings, $250; 50 servings, $450; and a 30-inch round in the piped dome style for about 100 guests, $1,000. The final size and price depend on your guest count and the style of the cake.
Is tiramisu a good wedding cake?
Yes — many couples choose it instead of a tiered cake. Tiramisu wedding cakes begin at $250 for 25–30 servings, and for larger receptions a cake pairs with a
tiramisu tower, a cake for 50 guests or a 30-inch round.
How much tiramisu do we need for 50 guests?
One serving per guest when tiramisu is the main dessert — a cake for 50 guests is $450. With a
dessert table or a tower the same evening, guests eat from both, so a smaller cake is usually enough.
Which size looks right in photos?
Tiramisu is a low cake, so a wider shape reads better from the side in cake-cutting photos. For a larger celebration, the 30-inch round in the piped dome style makes a striking centerpiece.
Which flavors do you offer?
Classic — espresso, mascarpone cream and cocoa — and Matcha Strawberry, with barista-grade matcha and a strawberry confit.
What's in it?
Ladyfingers, espresso, mascarpone cream and eggs, finished with cocoa. The minimalist tray finish includes toasted almonds. Our recipe uses no alcohol — espresso only. A gluten-free version is made on request with a gluten-free sponge in place of the ladyfingers. Our mascarpone cream is made with pasteurized eggs. Our kitchen works with nuts, dairy, eggs and gluten, so we share full ingredient details for every piece and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
How far ahead should we order?
Celebration cakes are usually ordered one week to a month ahead. For weddings, most couples reserve 6–12 months ahead; for a sooner date, ask us — we take urgent weddings when the calendar allows.
Do you deliver, or can we pick up?
Both. Pick up from our kitchen at 3425 Hancock St, Unit 18, San Diego, or have the cake delivered from La Jolla and Del Mar to Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside, the Temecula and Fallbrook wine country, and Orange County — delivery is priced by distance. Beyond these areas, we travel on request.
What comes with a delivered cake?
The cake itself, delivered ready to serve, with no setup fee. Cake stands and serving knives are not included.
Can you assemble the tiramisu at our event?
Yes. Our pastry chef can assemble your tiramisu live at the event, in front of your guests — $350, added to tiramisu orders of $450 and up.
How should we store it?
Keep the cake refrigerated at 40°F or below and serve it chilled. It can be out of the refrigerator for no more than 2 hours in total — 1 hour when it is above 90°F. After pickup, carry it flat in an air-conditioned car, go straight to your destination and refrigerate it on arrival. Covered in the refrigerator, it keeps up to 3 days and is at its finest within the first 2.
How do we pay and reserve our date?
Orders under $1,000 are reserved with full payment. Larger orders are reserved with a 35% non-refundable deposit, and the balance is due 14 days before the event. Zelle is preferred; cards are accepted.
Do you work with our venue and planner?
Yes. We carry general liability insurance and provide certificates of insurance to venues on request, and we coordinate delivery timing with your planner.
Do you make tiramisu cakes for corporate events?
Yes. Tiramisu trays and rounds for office celebrations, client receptions and brand events across San Diego, invoiced line by line. We are an official corporate and event vendor of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
