What is a tiramisu tower?
Individual cups of Italian-style tiramisu — espresso-soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone cream, finished with cocoa — stacked in tiers into a single centerpiece. Each guest takes their own cup, so there is no cutting and no plating.
How much does a tiramisu tower cost?
Our towers begin at $240 for four tiers and 30 cups in elevated single-serve cups. The same tower in glass or silver is $360, and five tiers with 55 cups in glass or silver is $660. Six tiers and larger are quoted individually. Setup for a tower on its own is a flat $100; delivery is priced by venue and distance.
How many cups do we need?
One cup per guest when the tower is the main dessert. With a wedding cake or a dessert table the same evening, guests eat from both, so most couples choose a smaller tower — we suggest the size for your guest count.
How do you build a tiramisu tower?
Each cup is made in our San Diego kitchen and delivered to your venue, where our team assembles the tower tier by tier — 30 cups across four tiers, 55 across five — timed to your reception.
Glass, silver or single-serve — what is the difference?
Elevated single-serve cups are available for towers up to 30 cups. Glass or silver works for towers of any size, rented at $4 per cup and collected after the event.
What's in it?
Ladyfingers, espresso, mascarpone cream and eggs, finished with cocoa. Our recipe uses no alcohol — espresso only. A gluten-free version is made on request with a gluten-free sponge in place of the ladyfingers. Our mascarpone cream is made with pasteurized eggs. Our kitchen works with nuts, dairy, eggs and gluten, so we share full ingredient details for every piece and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Can the tower stand outdoors?
Yes, in a shaded spot away from direct sun. Tiramisu should stay out of refrigeration no more than 2 hours in total — 1 hour when it is above 90°F — so we usually set up 1 to 1.5 hours before serving and, on hot days, closer to service. Tell us your venue and timeline, and we will plan the setup around it.
Can we have both flavors?
Each tower is built in one flavor, so the cups stay uniform and the tower reads as one piece. For classic and matcha strawberry, we build two towers side by side.
Can a tiramisu tower replace a wedding cake?
Yes. Many couples choose a tower instead of a cake, or pair it with a small cake for the cutting moment.
Tiramisu cakesWhich areas do you serve?
We deliver and assemble towers from La Jolla and Del Mar to Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside, the Temecula and Fallbrook wine country, and Orange County. Beyond these areas, we travel on request.
How far ahead should we book?
Most couples reserve 6–12 months ahead; for a sooner date, ask us — we take urgent weddings when the calendar allows.
Can we taste the tiramisu first?
Tiramisu is part of our dessert table tasting box, a paid, curated selection chosen by our pastry chef. For a tiramisu-only order, ask us about tasting when you inquire.
